I am Colombian, born in Bogotá, the capital. I have always lived in art, I am a professional in the plastic arts and at the same time, dance has always occupied an important place in my life. Since my secondary school, my time at university and once with my professional diploma, I have had the pleasure of being part of two of the most recognized Ballets in my country: Herencia Viva and Ballet Folklorico Tierra Colombiana. Thanks to them, I was able to participate in several national and international dance festivals for more than 15 years. I had the opportunity to create and lead a school's dance troupe for over 10 years, where I found my passion as a choreographer and director. In 2012 when we decided to restart our life project in this wonderful country that is Canada, the dance could not be missing, this passion of more than 30 years is and will be everywhere I go, teaching and seeing the fruits of this beautiful work which is to show the diversity of my country and the magic which hides behind the Colombian dance. The Colombian Heritage dance troupe was born in 2012 in the city of Gatineau.
